vanilla & brown sugar body scrub

[Personalized homemade body scrub]

When it comes to the holidays, I'd much rather give a handmade, creative gift than a store bought item. I stumbled upon this recipe  - who doesn't love body scrub, especially in the winter? I picked up all of the jars, in an array of sizes, at Homegoods for my endless group of girlfriends, girlfriends mothers, boss' wife, etc.

How to: 
Mix together 2 cups of brown sugar & 1 cup of granulated sugar in a bowl until there are no lumps. Mix in 4/5 cup of sunflower oil (it calls for a cup, but I found it too oily) & 1 tablespoon vanilla extract. Scoop into mason and/or canning jars, tie a small plastic scoop to the jar with twine, personalize, & decorate.
