It's amazing how a simple interest, such as blogging, can introduce you to gals you would have never met otherwise. I spent all day Saturday at Blog Better Boston with Di meeting local bloggers, attending workshops, & sharing tips & tricks. Diana from Dressed Up Alligators is a blogger I aspire to be - poised, confident, killer poses, & a unique sense of style that's hard to beat.

BBBos stressed that your blog should be a representation of you. I hope my blog can share with you my love for fashion, my eye for design, & my random sense of style that I like to think I pull together effortlessly.

A huge thank you to Lea from Found with Love for braving the cold & snapping these pics!

After captioning these pictures, I realized two things: I have become attached to my PLV tote & should be a walking advertisement for Forever 21. The only negative I have about wearing this outfit was aligning the stripes - any movement caused a mis-match. My weekends of pairing black tights & booties are slowly diminishing, but I am glad the weather gods decided to put the 80 degree weather on hold, smack us in the face with 45 degree weather, & remind us.. it's still March.

I also spent my entire Saturday at the Blog Better Boston conference & learned so much! A #bbbos post coming later this week..

I am welcoming Daylight Savings & this gorgeous weather with open arms, & a blouse turned crop top. Also, I am not one for feather earrings but I fell in love with these duster beauties from UO a few months back - not to mention they were only $4.99!

After two weeks of vacationing in my favorite city, San Diego, & my favorite state, Hawaii, I am finally home (after missing my flight by.. accident), 5 pounds heavier, & sleep deprived. San Diego included way too many cocktails, long nights spent wandering the boardwalk, & unnecessary shopping at seaside boutiques. In Hawaii we had a college rendezvous staying with two close friends, eating amazing food, exploring gorgeous beaches & hiking, all while losing our vocal cords from waking up to a 6 inch spider shopping through Jen's suitcase.

Lesson learned this trip:
  1. Never wear a fur stole in San Diego. It causes unnecessary attention.
  2. Bring a First-Aid kit when hiking with Jen.
  3. Always check your boarding pass for your flight departure time before heading to the food court.. damn.
  4. If I can live fashionably for two weeks with a suitcase full of clothes, I can live fashionably for the next year with my endless closet full of clothes. Also known as, no more shopping.
