spring weekend

Wearing: RL & F21 Bracelets | Kate Spade Watch | Playdate & Jamaica Me Crazy Polish | CK Heels

I love that spring is finally here.. no more boots, around the clock sunshine, & an excuse to finally start a garden. I am starting to sound like an adult, eek! I rarely wear jewelery, but I have been on a watch kick lately, accompanied by bright nails, a party on my arm & gingham tops. Hope you all had a great weekend!

messy hair

Wearing: H&M Capris | PLV Napoli Crossbody | St. Lucia Lilac Polish | Ann Taylor Ring

It was a messy top bun kind of weekend - filled with beers on the deck, sleeping in, & eating out.. just the way I like it. I'd like to introduce you to my $15 floral capri (that every blogger owns, yes) & my new PLV tote which a) matches everything & b) makes me want to order a black & tan.

sequined

When in doubt.. rock a sequin blazer, right? I wore this outfit to a comedy show over the weekend, where I insisted R & I sit front row. A comedian called me out for wearing a "Michael Jackson jacket!" All I can say is... awkward.

cut it out

Wearing: UO Dress | Target Clutch | Jeffrey Campbell Wedges

I declare this my birthday (which is Tuesday!) outfit - show some skin, rock some wedges, & add a pop of neon. These shoes get quite the stare, why not add a cut-out dress to the mix?

Hope you all are having a great long weekend!

tip-toe

Wearing: Gap Sweater | DL1961 Jeans | House of Harlow Sunglasses | UO Watch | Ann Taylor Flats

The instant I saw these flats online, I knew they had to be mine. I searched desperately online for a pair (even resorting to "tweeting" Ann Taylor asking if they'll re-stock, ha!) but my rash decision for a quick pit-stop at the mall resulted in .. my size, in this shoe, on SALE... for $58! So much for my spending freeze.

green with envy

Wearing: ASOS Dress (similiar) | Target Tights | GoJane Boots

How cute, in a weird way, is this dress? A fun color, a classy length, a sexy back, & easy material made this dress comfortable AND cute for birthday celebrations with R. I bought it because it's different, and as my mantra goes: I like different. I paired it with minimal accessories (my grandmother's bracelets!) with a glittered set of nails - & I dyed my hair darker, mmhmm.

Check back Tuesday for the crazy cool cupcakes I made him for his "surprise" birthday party!
