Yesterday was HOT... so hot that I had to wear the smallest shirt & the loosest shorts that I could find. I've had these loose, distressed, boyfriend shorts for years but rarely wear them until I spied them all over Pinterest - dressed up & dressed down. I can see myself rocking these again, with a sequin top & a fitted blazer with a pair of strappy heels.

I hope you all are surviving the heat wave. Best solution: homemade popsicles - yum!

I went maxi crazy & loaded up on these casual floor length skirts from VS for only $20 a pop (still on sale!). I tied up a tee, grabbed my chambray for an extra layer & headed downtown for a cool, comfortable, & casual night. Try this look - it's simple AND cute!

A weekend full of sun, beach, & girlfriends is just what the doctor ordered. I've been all about painting my nails an array of colors lately, hence the watermelon theme. I scored this vintage bracelet at an outside flea market, & having been wearing this shirt.. more than I like to admit. But it's okay, I can devour both a lobster roll & a frozen yogurt within an hour & no one will ever know.

Summer is all about being casual, but more importantly.. cute! I have a major obsession with flared jeans - these being my third pair. I love how the high waist mixed with the flared bottoms make you look tall & slim, plus rocking bell-bottoms is so unexpected now a days. I am a firm believer that crop-tops work best with flared jeans, & this top took the cake - a fun leopard pattern & a completely bare back. Does Urban Outfitters ever disappoint? Rarely..
