New York Fashion Week was an absolute whirlwind, which consisted of no sleep, late nights, & the attempt of trying to look pulled together in 90 degree weather. Not only was I completely smitten being at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week tents, but it was a dream come true, which I owe all to my blog & the amazing connections I’ve made along the way. So, thank you.
My favorite show, by far, was the W118 by Walter Baker Spring ’13 collection. I am a huge fan of Walter Baker, each collection, & the entire WB team, whom I have had the pleasure of working with the past few months. The presentation itself was perfected to a tee – the models rocked out to music via bejeweled headphones, while donning bright & playful patterns, accessorized with killer handbags. Every piece was tailored perfectly, and the mix of leather, prints, & lace made each look eccentric. This collection is killer because the pieces go well together, yet can be great additions for your spring wardrobe if bought seperately. I could not stop drooling over this blue ombre leather jacket & am beyond excited to get my hands on it when the collection hits stores (conveniently, at Macy’s!).
