Another Free People mini dress, what’s new!? I saw this beauty on sale & loved the ruffles & the jewel tone. I’m not one for tie waists (I’m convinced they draw attention to my hips) but the ruching of this dress sat at the smallest part of waist aka, illusion FTW.
You can read about my struggle finding the perfect over-the-knee boots last year here but this year, I was determined to find a pair that went up & over & stayed there. I tried on a good four pairs at Macy’s during their big shoe sale & liked these – the heels are sturdy, the suede isn’t cheap, & the ties help them stay glued to my thighs. I picture wearing them all season with short mini dresses. If you’re not aware, Stassi from Vanderpump is my #girlcrush & she rocks OTK boots with just about anything.. skirts, dresses, & long sweaters. She also wants to run for President in 2024 & “Make America drunk again.” My kinda girl!
