a few hours before i gave birth to this angel, i grabbed my phone and wrote her a letter in my notes app. it’s something that i had been meaning to do for weeks. i knew it’d be my last chance to write a letter to someone i love so much but i have never met. some day soon, i’ll handwrite it and stick it in an envelope for her to open when she understands how monumental that moment was for me. i just wrote how i felt before my life was about to change forever. just me, and my thoughts, in a hospital room.. with no feeling from the waist done. if you ever get the chance, i encourage you to do the same. 💕
